Presenter Player is the non-interactive playout component in the ~sedna presenter family of digital signage/digital media playback tools.
Available in three versions — Presenter Player Light, Presenter Player and Presenter Player for Mac Pro — Presenter Player delivers smooth playback of video, images, web pages and many other asset types at resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA).
As can be seen in our playout feature comparison, the various editions of Presenter Player deliver different levels of functionality depending on whether you need a single layer displayed on a single channel of a Mac mini or up to four layers displayed through four channels of a Mac Pro.
Reflecting the changes in Presenter Scheduler and the introduction of Presenter Publisher, Presenter Player 2.5 has introduced RFID-based interactivity and subscription-based updates from web servers.
These are just the last updates for the second major release from ~sedna, with more exciting functions already scheduled for version 3.0 which is due in 2010.
Choose whether to run your displays at standard computer resolutions (e.g. 1280 x 768) or video resolutions (e.g. 1280 x 720) as well as whether the display is portrait or landscape.
Choose a connected live video capture device or whether the system should recognise input from a ~sedna RFID reader
Also choose whether system should play audio or accept "sneakernet" updates.
In Presenter Player (or Presenter Player for Mac Pro), create a subscription to one or more target web servers and decide when you would like projects and updates to be downloaded.
In Presenter Player for Mac Pro (which can be loaded on any system), define the system to act as an edge (or site) server for subscriptions to reduce loadings on low bandwidth Internet connections.

Available in early 2010, the ~sedna RFID reader is a USB-based peripheral that connects directly to any playout system running Presenter Player or Presenter Player. With the addition of an RFID tag fixed to any object or a stand-alone token, designers can create signage that responds directly to the interests of consumers and other audience groups.
~sedna RFID reader will be a special-order item available in the British Isles only from broadcast1080 and qualified integrators.
In many businesses, it's not just the content on the screen that has to look good; it's also vital that the installation presents a professional image to your customers and visitors as well as keeping all of the cabling tucked away neatly out of harm's way.
broadcast1080 have developed a catalogue of solutions that can either fix your installations seamlessly to the wall or leave them free-standing on modular custom-designed solutions that combine audio/visual components with display shelving and literature dispensers.
To discuss these options (and any other custom requirements), please contact broadcast1080 using any of our contact points.
