Presenter Scheduler is the main interactive component for the ~sedna presenter product family allowing signage network designers and operators to collect assets into a project, assemble assets into playlists and schedule those playlists for exhibition.
Presenter Scheduler can be implemented as a stand-alone product for smaller networks, providing both design and publishing management in a single application; alternatively — for larger networks — it can work in conjunction with ~sedna publisher to allow multiple designers to deliver content to hundreds or thousands of playout systems across the globe.
Supporting a wide range of asset types, Presenter Scheduler is unbelievably easy to use with an interface that was designed to bring the simplicity of iTunes to the world of digital signage and digital media playback.
In version 2.5 (released in December 2009), ~sedna have delivered further enhancements to Presenter Scheduler including a new interface for RFID readers that will make it easy for digital signage designers to implement interactivity using real-world objects as well as simple RFID tags.
Other improvements include a Consolidate Project function, which keeps your projects broadband-friendly by removing deleted and unused assets, the ability to scale HTML and Flash assets and an autosave feature.
Presenter Scheduler features a simple drag-and-drop interface allowing designers to import compatible files from anywhere on their local hard drive or server.
Assets can be arranged into folders by type, size, colour or any other classification.
Create playlists simply by dropping assets into the available layers.
Drop your playlists onto a simple calendar that you'll recognise from iCal or Outlook.
New in 2.5, scan any RFID tag with the upcoming Presenter RFID Reader and then attach a playlist or overlay to the tag.
Use ~sedna composer to create smooth multi-layered animations with RSS and dynamic multi-zone date and timeclocks
